California Climate Resilience Nexus 2024

What are the opportunities to accelerate a Resilient California for all?

On Friday, January 12, 2024, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR), in partnership with Climate Resolve, hosted Climate Resilience Nexus 2024 (CRN 2024), a collaborative event that brought together over 200 people to explore opportunities and create the partnerships necessary to accelerate a Resilient California for all. The event, held at the California Air Resources Board Southern California Headquarters in Riverside, CA, also known as the Mary D. Nichols Campus, and The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture at the Riverside Art Museum (The Cheech), was a testament to the collective commitment towards climate resilience. Working with OPR, Chris Rhie prepared the event outcomes report, summarizing the symposium's activities including key themes from breakout track discussions. The report presents an analysis of participant feedback about their resilience priorities and OPR’s role in advancing climate resilience in California communities.
